Pictures at Tarague Beach

My mom and I took the kids to Tarague Beach while she was here to take some pics of the kids. Rodney and Tatum were less than excited but, I couldn't have asked for better pictures from Tristan. He sat in this tree stump for 15 minutes just amusing himself. Then, he found a hole down in the sand and dug at it with a stick for another 15 minutes. Such a cute kid!! I have to say that I love taking pictures outside the most and I will miss the pretty scenery here!
Our attempt on getting the three of them together.
Happy in his tree stump

Sorry if this wasn't one of the approved pictures mom..
Still smiling

Finally, a real smile!

A Night of Bowling

Rodney went out one night to celebrate a few friends advancements so, my mom and I decided to take the kids to the bowling alley for a game and dinner. This has become a favorite activity for the kids. Tatum doesn't know how to wait for her turn so, it makes for a long and aggravating game but, as long as they have fun, thats all that really matters. I got a TURKEY in this game! (No idea when I decided to get good at bowling but, I"ll take it!)

My old woman and her walker!

I laugh every time I look at this picture!

Not quite sure what she was doing...

Talafofo Falls

We took a trip to Talafofo as our last 'sight seeing trip'. Of course, it was, as always, too expensive but, I guess they figure thats the only way you're going to see a waterfall without hiking so, they charge an arm and a leg for you to do it. It was hot, and Tristan was heavy, but, we made it though!! :c)
Mom and the kids at the lower fall
Rodney Jr. just couldn't get the cosept of how to stand like a pirate!

The kids and I in front of the upper falls
Rodney JR. wanted this train to work so badly!

The kids fed the pigs but, Rodney Jr. says that he got bit by one. I don't think we'll be doing that again!

On the way to the falls we stopped to get some pics of the Pacific Ocean and were passed by some friendly bikers. The Guam Hogs? Maybe?

Happy Birthday Tristan!!!

Tristan is one!! I can't believe it! I remember looking down at him when he was an infant and telling myself to take a mental picture of that moment because I knew he wouldn't be that little for long and because I knew he was my last. I didn't think that he would be a year SO FAST!!! He has been my sweet baby BUT he has also won the name "monster baby" by all of us.

This was the last day that we had to spend with my mom. She hasn't missed any of the kids 1st birthdays and I thank her for traveling so far to not miss this one!! It was nice to have her here to help me out but, I wish we weren't so busy on our last day together! These pics are a little out of order but, you get the idea!!

Tristan wants to share some cake!

A little excited!?

I finally was able to put a cake in front of him.. explanation later....

A whole new meaning to "dig in!"

Whats this??

No daddy! Take it away!

Like I said, the pics are a little out of order, but, Tristan was SCARED of this cake!!! He would not stop crying until it was taken away from him and he never touched it again!

This is right before he started to wig out.

Happy Birthday to you....

The smash cake I made... for no reason...

The store cake. He wasn't too fond of this one either.. maybe a jungle theme wasn't the best idea??
