Tristan's Two Teeth

Tristan was having some fun showing off his teeth today so I took my chance to capture them on camera. More might be coming soon because his fingers are ALWAYS in his mouth and he's been quite fussy.
Big news for Tatum!!! She went pee pee on the potty last night! She wouldn't go this morning or most of today but she finally gave in and went. (Then about 15 minutes later she pooed herself and peed on my floor but..) Hopefully we'll keep having success! I'm really tired of changing so many diapers! Rodney keeps threatening her that she's not getting any birthday presents if she's not going pee in the potty by her birthday! ( I would never let him do that but, she fights him on it.)

He's Growing Up!

As I was putting dishes away this morning, Tristan army crawled his way in to keep me company. The next thing I know, he's standing up at the dishwasher. I guess he wanted to help? It's hard to believe that its only been 8 months since I was walking up and down the street hoping to go into labor with him! My baby is getting so big!

p.s... he got his second tooth in yesterday!!!

Seeing the Fishies

The last few weekends have been busy but, for Rodney and I. So, we wanted to take the kids out for a day to do things that they wanted to do. We decided to go to Underwater World since we bought a year pass there. They had fun as usual. I always feel so bad for Tatum because she's stuck in the stroller while Rodney gets to run around but, it's so hard for us to handle the two of them when one of them is not confined. Sounds horrible, I know! But, Tatum is quite the firecracker! They both had fun none-the-less!

Tristan was more aware this time and enjoyed watching the fish swim above him.

Rock Band ROCKS!!

I have had the BEST last few days! We jumped on the 'Band' Wagon and bought Rock Band for our Wii. Rodney and I had a BLAST! I was drinking the pre-made Bahama Mama's and got a little loopy, (I NEVER drink anymore so I'm quite the light weight). So, when I found out that I totally stink at playing the drums, and Rodney wanted a turn at the guitar, I busted out on the mic and really got into it. At first I was sitting on the couch because I was singing songs I didn't know too well, but then when I knew a song, I was up on my feet and dancing to the music! Let me just say I got a 'FLAWLESS' 100% on 'Dirty Little Secret'! It was really so much fun! haha.
We had so much fun that Rodney went out the next day and bought an extra guitar and almost all of the Guitar Hero's for the Playstation 3. Now, we've found out that the Wii's version of Rock band doesn't offer everything that the PS3's version does so, we're looking to sell our Wii version. If we're 'stuck' with it, I couldn't be happier! Its SO MUCH FUN!!!!

You probably all know by now that I keep up with the rest of the world by watching 'Good Morning America'. It reminds me of being back in the states. Anyways, this morning they had a segment on 'Bartering in the 21st Century'. You can go to the website to read the story and find a link that will give you lots of links to 'barter' websites. Happy Birthday

Well, we had a VERY busy weekend!! It wasn't supposed to be that way but, it ended up that way! Friday we had a cook-out and then went to the base to watch fireworks. We didn't go to the big carnival because we didn't want to fight the crowd so, we went to the 'big base' and watched the fireworks from a parking lot. It was the first time the kids saw the fireworks. (Well, Tristan slept in the car through the whole thing.) We had Rodney Jr and Tatum on top of the roof of my car and and in the middle of it, Tatum leaned over and gave Rodney Jr. a kiss and said "I love you Rodney". It was really cute but I looked at Rodney and said... "She's never allowed to go watch the fireworks with her boyfriends". As we were leaving, the kids said "Bye Fireworks" and I said, "Say Happy Birthday America". Rodney Jr. gave me a "Happy Birthday Harrymericida".
On Saturday I took Rodney out for his birthday. We went to the restaurant that he REALLY wanted to go to but, they were closed. Instead, we went to a similar restaurant and had really big burritos. They were good but, it ended up being a pretty big bill for some burritos! We came home to his surprise party but, when we got here, there was a car parked in front of our house and then Rodney noticed other cars around the house. Instead of helping me get the kids out of the car, he ran up to the house because he was so worried why everyone was at the house. So, I didn't get to see his reaction when he found everyone sitting on the back porch waiting to yell 'Surprise'. So, he had another good night and got some really good gifts.
Sunday we had people over for the UFC fight. Another day of yummy food. (Rodney made his chicken soup). I can honestly say I am happy that the weekend is over! Time to get the house back in order! :c)
As for us on a regular note, we are all doing good. Tristan is growing as fast as ever and is having a blast getting on his knees and rocking back and forth. My car is in the shop right now getting fixed (having to take a small loan out for that... we have no luck!), when I get it back, I'll be going to register Rodney Jr. into pre-school. My baby is growing up!! Tatum is just being Tatum. A handful as usual!
We're getting excited for everyone's visits!! It should make a few months fly by (which is good for me!!) ;c) I'll be posting more pics of this last weekend as soon as I get a chance.. Rodney is on my case about being on the computer! :c)

Size Update

No big things to post right now. After today, I'll probably have a TON of stuff to post. But, I just wanted to share a cool site with you and to tell you about the kids clothes sizes...
Ok, first, the sizes.. Rodney Jr. is 4T all the way. Of course, he does have a small waste and some shorts are too big but, thats why they invented belts. (No thanks to me. We didn't buy him one until I dressed him in some shorts and at the mall they were around his ankles. Sorry.) Tatum is in 3T tops and 2T bottoms. Some of my 24 month shorts for her STILL don't fit!! Tristan, my little rollie pollie, is in 12 months clothes now. Not that he CAN'T fit in 9 month clothes but, his arms and legs hang over about 3 inches. (Yes, his feetie pj's have holes so the big toes can come out...)
Next, the website that I found. It's a little pricey but I'm in love with my kids names and I enjoy showing them off. I'll be saving up for these necklaces but, I wanted to share the website with you parents who are also in love with your kids names!! haha.
